After a day of playing with a ball, fishing at the lake, and losing a baby rabbit, Curious George needs to be rescued when he tries to fly a kite.

Curious George runs away from the zoo, and after his escape, he decided to take a bus and find his friend, the man in the yellow hat. He looks for him in a restaurant, and ends up working there for just a short period of time before things start to go wrong.

Following a day of misadventures, Curious George becomes the first space monkey.
