Barbara O'Hare was admitted to Aston Hall hospital in Derbyshire when she was just 12-years-old. From a troubled home, Barbara hoped the hospital would offer her protection from all that was wrong with the world - instead, she was tied down and administered sodium amytal, a barbiturate derivative, noted for its sedative/hypnotic properties.
