Nobody on the spaceship Wanderer has ever seen Earth, but now they have found a habitable planet, and they are eager to start building their new homes; the trouble is that nearly twelve-year-old Evie is sure that the planet is inhabited by ghostly aliens and aggressive plants, only no one wants to believe her, especially not her planet-obsessed twin brother Emery--and after the twins are attacked by both plants and aliens, Evie is not sure that her brother is even human anymore.
