When the Scarecrow, now the ruler of the Emerald City, is driven out by General Jinjur and her all-girl army, his friends -- the Tin Woodman, a boy named Tip, and Jack Pumpkinhead -- try to restore peace in this graphic novel adaptation of L. Frank Baum's classic tale.

War comes to Oz as the sassy General Jinjur and her army of amazonian milkmaids storm the city gates. And what do the ladies want? Gems, Fudge, and Sandwiches with the crusts cut off! Well, that and the head of King Scarecrow.

Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman, Tip and the others have made it to the lands of the South; however the aid that the Scarecrow expects as a king is not what he gets. Glinda has decreed that she will not help Scarecrow reclaim the throne, since the throne is not truly his, but will help him find Ozma and restore the throne to the line of Oz.

Surrounded on all sides Tip, Jack Pumpkinhead, and the others must fully restore the Scarecrow to power and save Oz in the process. Unable to win with the power they have, they embark on a journey to get help from Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, all the while the power of the witch Mombi grows and General Jinjur hunts for them.
